The team arranges the church flowers on a weekly basis at St. Michael & St. John’s Church, Lowergate, Clitheroe.

We have a Flower arranger’s weekly rota and are always delighted to welcome new helpers of all abilities in flower arranging. We would also be grateful for any greenery that anyone could supply.

NAFAS

Several members of the team are part of the National Association of Flower Arrangement Societies (NAFAS)

NAFAS has been a unifying and guiding mainstay to thousands of men, women and juniors whose love of flowers has opened up a whole new world of creativity. In 1984 NAFAS was granted charitable status in recognition of its education activities. With over 100,000 members, it ranks among the most notable specialised National Associations.

The nearest local NAFAS group meets at St. Michael and St. John’s Social Centre, Lowergate, Clitheroe on the second Thursday of the month and to commence at 7.30pm unless otherwise stated. New members and visitors are always welcome.
