On 1st July we celebrate Weld Day and we pray for Thomas and Mary Weld and celebrate their generosity in donating the land on which our church is built and the field our children play; Mass will be celebrated on the field at 10.30am’ during which children from our three churches will receive their First Holy Communion Certificates and workbooks. Afterwards we shall have the usual Picnic, so bring along your picnic and rug and pray that the good weather continues until then. There will be no Sunday Mass in Sabden on that day
