The Salford Diocese Catechetical Group for Adult Formation has organised a Retreat Day on the subject of ‘Missionary Parishes in Times of Change’. The day, which is open to everyone, is on Saturday 13th May 2017 from 10.00 am to 3.30 pm at the Schoenstatt Shrine, St John Fisher, Manchester Road, Kearsley, Bolton, BL4 8QQ
It consists of: a Morning Session with Introduction and Scripture Reading and Follow-on activity. Mass will be celebrated at 12 noon followed by Lunch – a Jacob’s Join (please bring something to share). The Afternoon Session is ‘Refugee Come Dine with Me’, followed by sharing of ideas and resources and finishing with the Divine Mercy Prayer.
