ST JOHN SOUTHWORTH YEAR OF MERCY PILGRIMAGE from St Mary’s Osbaldeston to St Mary’s Samlesbury. A shuttle service will return walkers to their cars in Osbaldeston. See poster in porch.
Those who wish to walk should park up at St Mary’s Osbaldeston before 11am when we shall leave to follow quiet lanes and paved bridle paths for 5 miles to St Mary’s Samlesbury. Tea, Coffee and Soup will be available on arrival but bring your own picnic.
Those who wish to drive directly to St Mary’s & St John Southworth (2nd turning on the left PR5 OUL on the A59 after the motorway roundabouts) may arrive from 12.30pm onwards. Drinks will be provided but bring your own picnic.
St Mary’s has a designated Holy Year Door and Reconciliation (Confession) is available from 12.30 to 3pm. There will be an Holy Hour from 2-3pm.
