An exhibition about Sabden through the decades takes place in the St Mary’s Community Hall Saturday March 17th 10.00am—4.00pm. As well as pictures showing the village in its cotton heyday, well known characters, family and school pictures, there is a special section on St Mary’s church and school. See the church with its original ornate altar, opening day, past incumbents and church events. £2 admission. Refreshments available. All proceeds for Hall funds.
The exhibition has been extended to take in Sunday 18th March from 1pm—3pm. Parishioners can go in after Mass.
