“The main thing to discuss is the Global Healing events which Fr John has alerted us to and which Bishop John is promoting as ideal for an Advent Luadato Si’ course.

I think this would be great for the Parish and should attract people to something both spiritual and part of our CAFOD Live Simply Award plan.  To do as presented in the information would involve a degree of commitment from people but as we saw at Sabden recently a lot of people each doing a little achieved a great deal,  so individual commitment shouldn’t be onerous.

The other main item on our agenda must be the next stage of the Sabden plan.  We need to agree the next priority and a date.  Given the number of people who turned up last time, and the number of people who were unable but said they would come next time, I’m confident we can achieve great things at Sabden.”
