We leave a little earlier at 8.30am prompt from Clitheroe Interchange and arrive at Chatsworth for our tour at 11.45am.
Believe it or not we last visited Chatsworth back in 2003 and the date then – 10th December.
This year discover what life was like on the Chatsworth Estate for the family and estate workers during the First and Second World Wars.
During the Second World War, Chatsworth housed a girl’s boarding school. The State Drawing room will be returned to its appearance as a dormitory, complete with beds and the original wardrobe, stored at Chatsworth since the girls moved out in March 1946.
