On Monday (24th August) St Hubert’s parish held its annual Duck Race on the River Dunsop. The sun shone and a small number of ducks made it down the river quickly before they were joined by a field of over 1000.  Congratulations to all the winners (see poster for details) and thank you to everyone who bought and sold tickets, special thanks to Arnold Marsden, who co-ordinated the sales of over 400 ducks to our parish friends in Clitheroe.  The day was a great success with a total income of £1149.  Profit after expenses £839
